Collections

New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is responsible for managing a large collection with more than one million historic objects and three million archaeological artifacts. These collections tell the story of New York’s rich cultural heritage through exhibitions, furnished spaces, and interpretive programs at more than 30 historic sites and parks.
